April was a busy month. The biggest change — and the one you've probably already noticed — is that Google Sign-In is now available to all Outstaffer users. Log in faster, skip the password, and link your existing account in seconds.

Beyond that, the hiring workflow got a meaningful upgrade: draft offers now flow directly from the candidate pipeline, AI-powered job description polishing is available across more entry points, and employment costs are visible in candidate exports. On the HR side, you can now schedule role, salary, and benefits changes in advance — so nothing falls through the cracks when effective dates roll around.

Sign in with Google — faster access for every user

All Outstaffer users can now sign up and log in using their Google account. For new users, it means skipping the password creation step entirely. For existing users, linking your Google profile to your Outstaffer account takes a few seconds from your account settings.

Once connected, every login is a single click. No separate password to manage, no reset flows, no friction. If you disconnect your Google account without having a standalone password set, the platform now surfaces a clear error and walks you through next steps — so you're never locked out unexpectedly.

New Features

Across three sprint releases this month, six new capabilities shipped.

Schedule future-dated role, pay and benefits changes

HR managers can now queue up a role change, salary adjustment, or benefits update to take effect on a specific future date. The platform applies it automatically — no chasing, no manual intervention on the day.

Update employee names and track company profile changes

Employee legal names can now be edited directly in the platform. A new activity log on company profiles records every update to company information.

Create draft offers directly from the candidate side panel

When a candidate reaches the Offer stage, a Create draft offer button now appears with key details pre-populated. You can also polish the job description using AI before sending.

Manage Outstaffer plans from the employee Costs tab

Plans, devices, and add-ons can now be edited directly from an employee's Costs tab. The cost of employment table refreshes in real time when changes are made.

Job details now link back to the originating talent request

Jobs created from a talent request now display a full summary on the Job Details page including recruitment type, employee location, and selected job boards.

Employment costs visible in candidate PDF exports

Candidate PDF exports now include a monthly and one-off employment cost breakdown, giving hiring managers a complete picture of the true cost of a hire.

Improvements

AI Recruiter and Talent Headhunting promoted to dashboard quick links

Both recruiting products are now surfaced as primary quick links on the main dashboard.

Staff table filterable by inactive status, with leave approval reminders

The Staff table now defaults to showing Active and Offboarding employees, with inactive staff available via the filter. Hiring managers receive an automated reminder when a leave request is pending within 2 days of the start date.

Public holidays filterable by next month or next year

Employees can now filter the public holidays view by the next month or the next year.

Employee dashboard shows live job offer status

Employees now see a live status indicator on the Job Offer step showing when change requests are pending or a revised offer has been sent.

Polish with AI now available from all job creation entry points

Polish with Outstaffer AI is now available when writing a job description in standalone job creation from both the Jobs page and the Talent Request page.

Bug Fixes

Login redirect loop, Google disconnect error and country-switching fixed

First-attempt logins no longer redirect users back to the login page. Disconnecting a Google account without a password now shows a clear, actionable error.

Correct default leave entitlement restored for Philippine employees

A bug causing incorrect default leave entitlements for employees in the Philippines has been resolved. Entitlements are now correctly applied for all newly onboarded PH employees.
