Q. For companies to flourish, they need the right talent. How does Outstaffer help with this?
By 2030, the demand for skilled workers will outpace the supply. We’re talking about a talent shortage of more than 85.2 million people worldwide. Much of the shortage is based on simple demography.
In the US, companies face a huge shortage of skilled workers, which is set to worsen with 10,000 baby boomers reaching retirement age each day for the next 19 years. By 2030, the US is expected to experience a talent shortage of over 23 million and unrealized output of $2.3 trillion, which is equivalent to 6% of its entire economy.
While not as acute, Europe is set to suffer a severe skill shortage with an unrealized output of EU counties totaling $1.32 trillion by 2030. And in Australia, we’re already facing a significant talent deficit, which is set to increase to over 2 million by 2030, the equivalent of 43.8% of Australia’s highly skilled workforce.
The reality is that talent shortages will not be solved by local talent pools or skilled migration, and companies need to be able to tap into global talent pools to fill job roles and skill gaps in their workforce. However, employing talent abroad is complex and time-consuming.
