Outstaffer.com — Enhance your workforce by hiring global talent and building the best team on the planet

With the advancement of communication technology and the help of Wi-Fi, working from traditional office space is becoming less common. Companies are now giving people an opportunity to step away from their cubicles and work from the comfort of their homes.

Remote work is on the rise. According to Buffer’s 2021 State of Remote Work survey, most remote workers (97.6%) would like to work remotely at least some of the time for the rest of their careers. In addition, 97% of remote workers would recommend remote work to others. Businesses that have not adopted remote work yet may be falling behind.

Some businesses have ditched the office altogether, and now their employees only work remotely. With advances in technology allowing for virtual meetings, it has never been easier to stay connected with one’s colleagues.

Now that businesses don’t have the geographical restrictions of a brick-and-mortar location, many employers are looking further abroad to hire the best people for their company. This is not restricted to just national hires either, with many firms considering a move to a more global workforce.

According to a report from The Business Times, the hire rate in APAC alone has grown by 159% and accross all regions has risen by an astonishing 145%. As skill shortages rise and economic unertanty looms, companies are increasingly turning to untapped talent pools where the labor is more affordable.

Hiring remotely allows you to find great talent and offer more flexibility. And you can create a culture of trust and engagement with your employees when you have flexibility.

Hiring from around the world will also naturally grow your workforce and make it more diverse. When you have employees from all over the world, you’ll bring fresh perspectives that can grow your business and make it successful. Having a diverse workforce can also boost your employer’s brand and make your company more attractive to potential remote job seekers.

Speaking of your brand, hiring international employees also makes you more attractive to customers. With employees located globally, you can better represent the customers that you serve. You can also meet the customer where they are and better provide the products or services that they need. Plus, there is a strong correlation between having your employees engaged internally and also engaging your external customers.

If you’re on the hunt for the best talent, Outstaffer can help. Outstaffer.com is a Global Employer of Record and a “Work From Anywhere” technology firm. The firm’s vision is to enable every business to “Hire From Everywhere” and every person on the planet to “Work From Anywhere.”

Outstaffer’s mission is to enable the business to overcome the limits of its local talent pool. They do this by building platforms that make it simple and easy to find, hire, pay, and equip “Talent From Anywhere” compliantly.

Using their Global Employer of Record (EOR) services and “Work From Anywhere” technology, the firm enables both organizations and people to work remotely together from around the world safely and securely.

Recently, CIO Bulletin exclusively spoke to Thomas Derum, the Founder and CEO of Outstaffer, about the remote working boom, the importance of hiring international talent, and the growth of Outstaffer. The following excerpts are taken from the conversation that ensued

Q. For companies to flourish, they need the right talent. How does Outstaffer help with this?

By 2030, the demand for skilled workers will outpace the supply. We’re talking about a talent shortage of more than 85.2 million people worldwide. Much of the shortage is based on simple demography.

In the US, companies face a huge shortage of skilled workers, which is set to worsen with 10,000 baby boomers reaching retirement age each day for the next 19 years. By 2030, the US is expected to experience a talent shortage of over 23 million and unrealized output of $2.3 trillion, which is equivalent to 6% of its entire economy.

While not as acute, Europe is set to suffer a severe skill shortage with an unrealized output of EU counties totaling $1.32 trillion by 2030. And in Australia, we’re already facing a significant talent deficit, which is set to increase to over 2 million by 2030, the equivalent of 43.8% of Australia’s highly skilled workforce.

The reality is that talent shortages will not be solved by local talent pools or skilled migration, and companies need to be able to tap into global talent pools to fill job roles and skill gaps in their workforce. However, employing talent abroad is complex and time-consuming.

Outstaffer solves these complexities of giving full-time employment to anyone from around the world with no compliance risk, enabling companies to find and hire top talent, make locally compliant payroll, offer great employee benefits, and equip their remote employees with managed devices and the tools they need to work productively, safely and securely from anywhere.

“We’ll find the right talent for your job.”

Q. What types of companies does Outstaffer serve?

Outstaffer serves companies of all sizes, including scale-ups, small-medium businesses to large global enterprises. While we work with some of the leading companies in tech, finance, IT, recruitment, staffing, and construction, as a platform, we are industry agnostic.

Q. How do you simplify international hiring?

At Outstaffer, we help recruit, hire and onboard global talent from around the world. We go beyond traditional job boards and LinkedIn to access more than 800 million profiles with information from 45 tech platforms, including GitHub, AngelList, Kaggle and Stack Overflow.

Then, using our transparent recruitment process, our global recruitment team sources, screens, interviews and shortlists the best available talent for your job from your desired country. We also give you the option to see detailed candidate profiles, view interview recordings and conduct live interviews before deciding who you want to hire.

Once you’ve chosen your candidate(s), we use our Employer of Record services to onboard and employ them on your behalf.

Traditionally, to hire an employee in another country, you had to open a local entity. This takes a long time, costs a lot of money, and creates ongoing admin as you navigate local benefits, payroll, taxes, and compliance. Your business can also get into some trouble if you don’t properly comply with local laws.

I started Outstaffer not only to simplify this process but to make it easy for every business to hire from everywhere and for people to work remotely from anywhere.

Through our Employer of Record service and HR Infrastructure, we employ people on behalf of our customers and handle the entire local employment process, taking care of recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, taxes, compliance, IP protection, and HR. We can also provide our customer employees with managed devices where we handle logistics and IT support for each employee.

So, as a result, instead of being limited by their local talent pool or encumbered by costly migration fees, we make it simple and easy for companies to tap global talent pools and find, hire, pay, and equip remote employees from any of our covered countries.

“Hire and build the best team on the planet.”

Q. Why should startups opt for Outstaffer?

When you’re trying to scale and launch, you don’t have the time or budget to jump through hoops to get the right talent.

We make it easy to find, hire, pay and equip skilled talent worldwide. We can also help protect a startup’s most important assets i.e., private data, intellectual property, and invention rights, with our managed devices tech solution.

Also, because we know how tight things can be for startups, we offer some top-tier discounts to our startup customers., including no charge for your first employee for the first 12 months, two free months per year for each additional employee, and a 25% discount on recruitment.

Q. Aside from hiring, how does Outstaffer enable companies to leverage global talent?

Our Employer of Record platform allows us to legally employ workers on your behalf. As a result, we handle the payroll, taxes, statutory contributions, benefits, contracts, documents and more. Essentially, we assume all the liability, taxes and HR responsibilities of having a global employee.

Additionally, with our Managed Work From Anywhere platform, we provide desktops or laptops to your global employees to physically protect your IP and enable your team to work. They come preinstalled with cutting-edge security, business apps, automated time and attendance tracking and real-time workforce monitoring.

We also offer VR workplaces to help you connect to your international team, no matter where they are. In short, we’re a full turnkey solution to international hiring. From recruitment and onboarding to enablement and management, we handle it all.

Q. What’s the employee experience like at Outstaffer.com?

We believe that people do their best work when they are free to work where they choose. That’s why we offer permanent “Work From Home” for all employees worldwide and provide everything they need to “Work From Anywhere” safely and securely.

As a 100% remote company with more than 150 employees from 11 countries, we truly practice what we preach. Our team is full of talented and passionate people dedicated to changing the future of work, bonded together by our mission and core values.

Also, since we’re on the topic of employee experience, it’s worth mentioning our customer’s employees. First, each employee that we employ on behalf of our customers using our Employer of Record services is treated like a customer, not an employee. Second, unlike outsourcing or staffing companies, our customers own the employee relationship and manage their employees’ day-to-day work.

As the Employer of Record, we handle all the boring things that most businesses do not want to deal with, including onboarding, HR administration, payroll, tax, benefits, compliance, and HR and IT support for their remote employees. This enables the employee to work for our customers just like the rest of their team.

Q. How do you give back to the community?

We’re a proud member of the Pledge 1% movement. As a company, we have pledged 1% of employee time and 1% of our product to nonprofits involved in our covered countries.

Our vision is enable every person on the planet to #WorkFromAnywhere and every business to #HireFromEverywhere
