How does employee activation work from the onboarding table?

Once an employee completes self-enrolment, an Activate option appears in the ellipsis menu on the onboarding table. Clicking it opens a confirmation modal and immediately moves the employee to Active status — placing them in the Staff table. The same action is available via a banner on the employee's profile page.

Can Borderless HRIS customers manage onboarding independently without Outstaffer involvement?

Yes. Customers on Borderless HRIS can now run their onboarding process on their own schedule and activate employees directly when ready — from either the onboarding table or the employee profile. This removes the previous dependency on Outstaffer to complete the activation step, giving HR teams full control over their own workflows.
