Frequently asked questions
How are work schedule hours displayed?
Hours show the timezone name and GMT offset, for example "7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Eastern Time, GMT-4)". The offset follows daylight saving for the date shown: today on the Job tab, and the start date on the job offer PDF.
How do I manage a remote team across different time zones?
Each employee's work schedule shows their hours with the timezone and GMT offset, so you can compare them with your own clock without converting by hand. The same view appears on the job offer, so expectations on working hours are clear before the employee starts.
How do I hire someone overseas who works my business hours?
Set the work schedule when you make the offer. The hours, timezone and GMT offset appear on the in-app offer and the offer PDF, so you and the candidate agree on working hours up front.
