Support tickets now have mentions, notifications, pasted images and an activity log
By the Outstaffer Product Team
New
- @mention a teammate in a ticket or task comment and they receive an in-app notification
- Requesters are notified in-app whenever a new comment is added to their ticket
- Links in comments are clickable and can be given a display name, and images can be pasted straight into the comment box
- Attachments can be added to workflow task comments
- The Outstaffer team can open a request on behalf of a company or employee, and it appears in that person’s My Requests
- Every support request has an activity log recording key actions with actor and timestamp
- Companies can be marked as restricted from the Companies list, with assigned agents still able to work their own tickets
Improved
- Conversation is the default tab on support tickets, Tasks always shows, and workflow tickets have a dedicated Attachments tab
- Jump directly between a workflow ticket and the related employee profile
- Dashboard tasks show the parent ticket title and list all active assigned tasks
Fixed
- Attachment preview resizes to fit content instead of cropping
- Uppercase file extensions such as .PNG upload correctly on comments
- Company support requests appear when viewing that company
- AI interview audio recordings play correctly on candidate profiles
- Calculator booking links no longer show a hardcoded team title
- Security hardening for employee name rendering and search scoping
Frequently asked questions
Will I be notified when someone replies to my support request?
Yes. Every new comment on your request triggers an in-app notification, and the full conversation stays on the request so you can reply from there.
Can I see the status of a request without chasing someone?
Each request carries a live status and an activity log showing who did what and when, so the current state is always visible.
How do I reduce HR admin when managing international employees?
Support, onboarding and offboarding all run as tickets inside the same platform as your employee records. Mentions, notifications and pasted screenshots keep the conversation in one place rather than across email and chat tools.
