Agreed pricing adjustments and cross border fee exclusions apply per employee
By the Outstaffer Product Team
New
- A coupon field in Edit Outstaffer plan applies a platform-configured pricing adjustment to an active contract, reflected immediately in Cost of Employment
- Cross border fees can be switched off per employee from the Compensation edit section on the Costs tab, effective from a chosen date, on every plan except HR
- Linked billing subscriptions update automatically for both changes
- Every plan or cost change is recorded in the employee’s activity log with before and after values, actor and timestamp
Frequently asked questions
Can negotiated pricing be applied to a single employee's plan?
Yes. A coupon configured on the platform can be applied to one employee's Outstaffer plan and the new price shows in the Cost of Employment container straight away, with billing updated where a subscription is linked.
What is a cross border fee and can it be removed?
It is the charge for paying an employee in a different country from the billing entity. Where a company has agreed not to be billed for it, the fee can be excluded per employee from an effective date, and the exclusion is logged.
Can I manage payroll and contracts for overseas staff in one place?
Plan pricing, fees, compensation and the change history all sit on the employee's contract in the platform, and billing follows automatically.
